Key Personnel

Gordon Young works with Ryan Grant in dispatch. Both offer our customers years of experience in the trucking industry.

Cheryl McCrea, as our Office Manager, also brings a wealth of trucking company experience to our operations as far as administration, accounting and information technology.

R.J. Griffin, lovingly referred to as "Griff" was born in Pointe Claire, PQ. Griff left the "Belle Province" to attend St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, N.S. He headed west (like many other easterners) to pursue wealth and happiness. His first job was as a heat fusion welder in Judy Creek Alberta (near Swan Hills). After spending 1.5 years in "the bush" he decided to try his hand at sales and business and has worked in the logistics field for the past 4 of his 25 years in sales. In 1987 he met his wife in Edmonton (originally from Regina). Together they have two children and after many moves throughout Canada, have found themselves in Calgary for the past eight years. They are looking forward to "moving home", (moving to Saskatoon as all of the family is there in 2008). Griff understands that he is going to have to trade in his Stamps jersey for a Roughrider Jersey before his wife will let him into the province. Griff says he will gladly oblige as he is an old fan of Ron Lancaster and George Reed!

David Harris, a business consultant contracted by OBASA Group of Companies, has consulted for numerous transportation companies as a software and business development manager. In this capacity, Mr. Harris is responsible for planning and developing corporate strategy and all areas of infrastructure in support of company growth and change.

Simone Clayton is the Director of Marketing for OBASA Group of Companies and will be providing full marketing support. In addition to the 5 P's of Marketing, Simone's role will also include providing training, develop promotions, and handle public relations for OBASA Freight.

Gordon M. Doell, as the President and CEO of OBASA Group of Companies including Paradigm Holdings Inc., has decades of experience in wealth creation and management. His vision and innovative approach to human resources and profound interest in the trucking industry has been invaluable to the successes of OBASA Freight.
